So what now?and DIY?

I find myself at a stand still in wedding planning...

I have the church
I have the reception venue
I have my dress
I have my caterer (who is handling food, linens, chairs, and flowers)
I have my colors (white, silver, and eggplant purple)
I am working on photography
I am working on DJ
I am working on video

What else? lol... The details of the linens and flowers, my caterer says that we'd take care of that closer to date so its a fresh idea for me so I am no where near this.

What would you girls look at doing next? What are some DIY project ideas? Maybe I can start some of those and hide them in my closet until the wedding day lol

    I have done a ton of DIY projects and loved them. The first place to start is the DIY board. Be careful- the girls aren't as nice as our board, but they have some FABULOUS ideas! And since you are about a year out, you have tons of time to do them! I did menus, programs, BM gifts, luminary table numbers, tears of joy packets, the list goes on and on :)  If you need any help or ideas just let me know!

    the ones listed are good.. you can also do cocktail stirrs...

    have you gotten your save the dates out? maybe you can work on those..

    Working on your wedding website if your making one....

    programs... you can make fans, booklets...etc

    any signs you might want to make like for candy bar etc

    I don't have a printer, so am I able to design things on my computer and go somewhere to print them out? Do they look just as nice?

    Oh yea, and I have my make up girl already set for the day too :)

    yea you can always print at kinko's and places like that... or try going to like 123print.com or vistaprint.com ...i know ur pain i dont have a printer either... but honestly all the trouble ive been through and money i wasted it would have been cheaper to get one.. lol

    Get inspirations on your table decor for guests and your sweetheart table.
    (candles, favors, other little details)
    Look for hair accessories and jewelry.
    Ring boy and flower girl stuff.
    BM dresses?

    ... and get a ticker on your signature line so we can see how long you have. lol ;)


    edit:: PS. I saw your post asking for photogs and just replied, but noticed it's about to fall off the page so here it is just in case. lol

    You have gotten so much done! Way to go!

    My favorite DIY (and one of the first that I did) was my wedding jewelry. It was so fun to make, and got me really excited about my wedding! I'm not sure if that's something that you would want to do, but I can tell you that it's really fun!!!
