So you may seen from my other post how many different DOCs I've contacted. After your suggetions I've contacted even more.
I have spoken to so many DOCs in just the past few days. They are all nice over the phone, all have great reviews. I really like Jennifer J, but she charges $1000 (and thats a special discounted rate - my budget is closer to $500). She's very familiar with my venue and is well known in the business.
My venue coordinator had suggested Marylen Exposito, but I kinda low balled her really low (I had no idea at the time what DOCs cost). I'm embarassed to contact her again about it. Her reviews are really good, and I like the fact that my coordinator recomends her.
I feel like although I may have "clicked" with others, Jennifer J stood out in my mind the most. I know there are good DOCs out there for $500-700. I just feel kinda stuck, because obvoiusly, I want to go with someone I click well with, but at the same time, I also need to stay within my budget.
A lot of people raved about Jessica from Classic Fairs events, and she's available on my date an only charges $500. So I can save some money and go with her, but there is something about Jennifer J that keeps standing out for me. Events on a Budget is a well known, well recommended company charging $750 which is managable, so I guess I can go with them too, I guess.
Whats a knotie to do?
