Caterer recommendations (Indian and/or non-Indian)?

Hi girls!  I'm starting to look at caterers and was wondering if you had any recommendations for Indian and non-Indian caterers.  We'd like to provide both food options at the cocktail hour and reception.  I'm not really sure what the best Indian restaurants are in South Florida so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!! :)

    Hi Priya!

Jen's right, I have an Indian caterer.  Actually, I have more than one.  :)

Woodlands is doing my mehndi night.  They only serve veg food, so be prepared.  I would say that their strength is South Indian and Indo-Chinese food, although they do serve North Indian dishes as well.

Ken-Rose is my reception caterer.  They do pretty much anything you can think of, but if you want Indian cuisine, ask for Chef Jason.  For our wedding, they're doing Punjabi dishes for our Indian buffet, plus some Indian appetizers, plus kheer.  That's in addition to all of the non-Indian apps, salad, non-Indian stations, and some other sweet shots.    Chef Jason makes a navratan korma that is to die for.

My puja caterer (day after the reception) was chosen by FMIL.  I don't know what they are called, but they are preparing all-veg, traditional Gujarati food for us (basically rotli, daal, baath, shaak).

I know of some of the other Indian caterers in the area as well, so LMK if there is someone you are considering and I can consult with my sources.  :)

I sing the praises of Woodlands and Ken-Rose to the skies, though, and I highly recommend checking out both of them.

We used Madras cafe, speak to Soye.
He was awesome, everyone loved the food- indians & non indians.
Hes very modern, gourmet style & great presentation...from what my guests told me. I was too busy partying to see the food displays.
Its worth going to check him out.
