As some of you may know, on the day of our wedding, my DH gave his wallet and cellphone to our bridal concierge at the Westin Beach Resort (Ft Laud). She said she would put it somewhere safe. Well, they were stolen. His wallet was found thrown on the side of SE 17th St Causeway (miles away from the hotel). However, his phone was never found. We told them because their employee took responsibility for it, they should pay to replace it. They said no.
We filed an incident report the day after the wedding with the hotel but never a police report. DH will do that tomorrow.
But my question is... do I have any legal rights here??
