:( is trying not to cry...

1) I am less than 5 months away... no venue or anything.... the venue that I love is $13k over my budget with food that I would like and $4k over budget with blah food...
2) My dress came in today. My only check. And it was wrong! There were seams on it that weren't there when I tried the dress on. It looked terrible on me! They are sending it back to the designer. I'm really hoping I will get the dress I picked out and paid for...

Feeling so hopeless, frustrated, and defeated. I just wanted a pretty, nice wedding. :(

I know its seems overwhelming however, I have seen great weddings that were done in less than 5 months.  What is you budget? Do you want an outdoor or indoor wedding/ceremony?  With a little more info i'm sure you can get some good rec.

Sorry you are feeling so down :( However, please let us help ... if you reach out for help and suggestions you will get great feedback. All the girls on here are really helpful. Maybe you should look into a full service company such as Events on a Budget or Fetes & Events since you are on a shorter time frame. HTH!

I would contact Melissa from Events on a Budget. She is incredible and can make a beautiful wedding with a small budget. Her vendors are top notch and at great prices.
Please don't stress about not being able to afford your dream venue. My daughter had looked at a few places that were gorgeous but she is a little more frugal and refused to spend that much money on one day- yet she still wanted a beautiful day. Although my husband and I are paying for a large portion of her wedding and could afford to pay for a higher priced venue, we just chose not to based on my daughter and her fiance's wishes. Remember the wedding is about the love and joy between you and your fiance- your guests will love that more than a fancy venue.

If you still need a venue look into Hillcrest Country Club.  I planned my wedding in 5 months.  The thing I love about that venue is EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED except flowers.  Linens, cake, food, alcohol, chairs, all included!!  Price is excellent also!!  I'm paying for the wedding myself for me to afford it means a lot.  Carol and Stacey run the catering department and they are amazing to work with.

As for flowers, contact Cathy from forget me not flowers.  I went to 3 different flower shops and she is the BEST and cheaper than ALL the other 3 places and she is including way more stuff than all the other flower shops!!

    Good Luck!
