My mom keeps showing everyone my dress...

My mom is one of those people who just can't keep a secret...and she keeps showing everyone a picture of my dress! I have explained to her that I REALLY want to keep it a surprise, I really want that "WOW" moment when everyone sees it for the first time. She said she would stop, but she keeps showing people... does anyone else have this problem?

I'm not but that's horrible. I would tell her you changed your dress and give her a pic of a completely different dress and that way she will be showing everyone the fake dress. Plus even though she is showing people your dress, they will still be surprised. Because they can't really imagine how you are going to look in it. They are just seeing the dress on someone else.

I told my mom day one... ABSOLUTELY do not show anyone the dress because I want it to be a surprise!! But then I asked her if she showed my grandma and she was like, No, you said no one can see it.... so I ended up forwarding my grandma and aunt a pic lol. I'm rather impressed at how secret she has kept it because that is unlike her.
Try telling your mom again .. if she has the pic on a camera or phone .. I would try to be sneaky and delete it lol.
And as mentioned above, seeing a small pic is NOTHING compared to you actually wearing it in real life, with all your makeup, hair , jewelry , etc.... You'll never see just how beautiful it is or all the details until you see it in person

I wouldn't be happy either, your dress is the one thing that people see when you walk down. Its a Ahhh moment. Maybe sit down and talk with her to let it know it bothers you.

Get a hold of however she is showing people the pics (cellphone Computer) and delete the pic!! It would def bother me too. It is true that on you with your makeup and hair done will be totally different than just seeing a pic. People will still be blown away and believe me they probably forgot what it looked like already.

Just remember that she's showing everyone the dress because she loves you, thinks you look beautiful in the dress, and is so excited for you!

With that being said... Keep calm, but definitely talk to her and let her know it bothers you! GL

Ahhh I like the fake dress idea but since she bought the dress she knows I'm not changing it anytime soon lol! The picture is actually of me in the dress taken with a cell phone...I think she keeps it in her email so I might try and be sneaky and try to delete it !
