I'm bummed I missed the bridal expo, but we got a ton of shopping done in Tampa.
I got my lehenga choli for the mehendi party (the night before the wedding). I ended up choosing traditional colors, a green blouse and a red skirt with lots of embroidery and beading along the skirt. It's sooooo pretty, I can't wait until the alterations are done and I can see it again.
I also got a jewelry set for that day and fell in love with a new kind of earrings:

That place was insaaaane. I couldn't see the price tags on most things, but there was a pair of diamond and pearl earrings for $35,000. And individual diamond bangles for $17,000. I couldn't believe some of the stuff. We did end up getting a simplemangalsutra, so that was one big check.
