Hi! I'm not a newbie according to my join date but I did just officially set my date- 12/22/12! We have awhile to plan but I'm back to the Knot!

My name is Faith and my FI is Max. We've been together for 5+ years and were high school sweethearts! We're just starting to plan but so far we really like Old School Square in Delray Beach for our ceremony (the Loggia) and maybe the vintage Gymnasium for our reception.

I fell in love with Lara Rios' photography work but we're still figuring out our budget- photography is really important to me!

Hi!  I'm also not a newbie but not sure if I've ever introduced myself.  I haven't had my first 'check' yet and have gotten a slow start to wedding planning so I've been lurking and posting messages here and there.

My name is Priya and my fiance and I got engaged in November 2010; we dated for almost 4 years before he proposed.  We live in NYC and are planning from afar.  Hoping to find a venue in the Miami area that is in our budget and set a date in Feb/March 2012.  We are actually flying down to Miami this weekend to check out venues so hopefully this time next week, we'll know where and when we'll be getting married!  Can't wait for my first check!

I love this board and feel like I check it all the time - all of the responses, advice, and insights have been so helpful so far!!!

Hi everyone!  I've been occasionally posting for a little while now, but I don't think I ever introduced myself.  My fiance and I have been engaged for a long time, (2 years tomorrow!), and are getting married in three months.  We decided to have a long engagement because I started grad school soon after he proposed.  It was too much working full time, going to school full time, and planning a wedding.  I graduated in December, and now the wedding is around the corner- I can't wait!  Thanks for all of the great advice and suggestions you all have.
