Need a Venue That Allows Outside Catering...PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay, met with a wedding planner, and have realized that maybe if I go with an "all included" package at a hotel or banquet hall, I may not always get everything "included" and the amount of money I'd pay for open bar is ridiculous.  Please advise of any creative locations that allow outside catering around Coral Gables, Miami Shores, Key Biscayne, etc.  I'd prefer near water, but at this point any suggestion is better than none!!!  We're getting married 09/10/11 and I'm so stressed out!! We just got our date, and had no idea all the things that come with wedding planning

Thanks soooo much!!!

Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a beautiful venue that requires outside catering, but it isn't on the water.

Most of the county parks.. ie Long Key Nature Center in Davie and Anne Kolb Nature Center. But they do not allow liquor only beer and wine.

I'm looking for pretty much the same as you only we prefer Broward.

I'm booking with Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort in Sunny Isles right near Miami and as far as I know they allow outside caterers.. But they have some affordable packages too starting at 82 a person but if you take out the plated app it is 75 a person at the cheapest.. The hotel is beautiful and they can have an outside ceremony and its right off the beach. I have some photos if you'd like me to email to you. My FI and I are paying for our wedding and they are affordable for us. The package includes a 5 hours open bar with an hour for the cocktail hour.. The cocktail hour can be held outside near these cute little tiki huts with lounge chairs and tables..The package also inclues chivary chairs, bows and/or covers, linens, champange toast etc.. Let me know if you have anymore questions about the hotel..

    HTH and GL!!

I think the Shane Center is your best value for a venue near the water.  Also, if you have selected or are speaking with off premise caterers, ask them for their recommendations.  Good luck.
