Bonnet House was Ah-Maz-ing!!

My parents, FI, and I went and saw the grounds today at Bonnet House. Sooo pretty. Very floral and green (which is what I was looking for). THe wedding coordinator was SUPER sweet and hardly said no to anything I asked about possibly doing. The area is just so quant and hardly feels like it's in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale. It's def in the running for our possible venue spot. Except our date isn't available. We might just move to friday night instead.

Next Weekend we're off looking at Palm Beach locations so hopfully that goes good as well. The following weekend we're planning on checking out Miami spots.

All in all, a very good weekend. Especially because we went to the beach all day after visiting the Bonnet House. So funny to watch the northerners on the beach for spring break getting burnt! haha Laughing

Just another venue suggestion: Make sure you also check out Morikami japanese gardens in Boca. I saw that you were looking for a garden/intimate venue and I think that would be a great place =) My sis had her wedding there and it was beautiful! Good luck!!

Thanks everyone! I will def have to check out Morikami Museum.. I've heard good things too. I just hope it's not too japanese style for my tastes. Laughing Feels a lot better to know that I have a venue I already like.

If you like the gardens theme/look you can also check out the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens, they are beautiful and VERY reasonable...I was just heartbroken to find that they would be closed for a few months (during which my wedding is scheduled....) for remodeling... :c/
