need some help

I am gettin ready to visit my venue to finalize everything before the wedding since this will be my only chance to get all these thing out the way.
Can you ladies please help with what should I be looking for asking, doing etc?

Also is it a good Idea to go ahead and meet with my DOC at the location so we are all on the same page?

    Definitely meet with your DOC so they have an idea of what you want your day to be like. Make sure you and the venue are on the same page as to exact times, food choices, layout of tables (cake, gift, sweetheart, etc). Also going over p-up and delivery for linens and other items. Things like that.
