That's exciting!!! Which venue may be "the one"? You feel a lot less stressed once you book the venue.

The Coral Gables Museum. I am so in love with this place.

  • Is it also called MAC?  I've never heard of the Coral Gables Musuem.  I'm looking for a venue, too.  My dream venue, The Spanish Monastery, is booked through April of next year.

At one point we were considering to switch venues because we wanted something smaller and I saw the Coral Gables Museum online. Never got a chance to check it out. Would have loved for our reception venue to be closer since our ceremony takes place in the Gables. If you don't mind me asking....what is the capacity??

Nope, MAC is the Miami Art Center. The Coral Gables Museum is another one. If you are interested in booking MAC for your wedding...I would suggest to read reviews on how the weddings are there. I read one or two reviews about MAC on how the couples needed to find another venue because of issues with MAC. Maybe it is different now but make sure you check on their reviews.

The Spanish Monestary is a popular wedding venue and it does get booked fast. What type of venue are you looking for??

I'm looking for an outdoor/garden venue for both ceremony and reception (50ppl). The monastery is exactly what I had in mind.  I saw a few other places online, but they were too expensive.
  • If you like outdoor/garden you may want to check out Thalatta Estate in Plametto Bay as well.  They have some affordable options.

  • Looks nice. I will definitely check it out.

    Thank you!

So sorry for the late response! Katie's suggestion is a really nice one....beautiful garden and it's right next to Biscayne Bay and it's affordable. You get to bring in your own vendors.

Have you check the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens? It has had some renovations and the garden was nice before so I can only imagine it looks even better now.

There is also another venue called "the secret garden" and it's somewhere in South Florida (I wanna say Miami). Very nice but I am unsure about the prices.

My favorite garden venue by far is the Pinecreat Gardens in Pinecrest. Absolutely beautiful and a steal for the price! You can bring in your own vendors. The only downside to this venue is that you have to have day weddings....no evenings. I don't know how late you can have an event there but it is worth checking out!

Lastly, check out Jungle Island. I have seen some wedding pictures and it has a lovely garden spaces for weddings.
