Hey ladies,
It's been a while since I've been on here! Hope everyone's planning is going well

One of my DHs cousins is getting married in a few months and we got the invite today so I wanted to share some pics because, although she probably spent a thousand or so dollars on them, I thought it could be done in a DIY manner for those of you who are crafty.
Hers is a rather huge invite .. about 10" x 5" but it is composed of a main backer piece of cardstock, then another piece set in about 1/16". There is a piece of shimmery, see-through fabric that is stuck between the two cardstocks to create the "pocket" for holding the invite itself. At the top of the fabric is a separate ribbon to create a trim (this is also held together between the two card stocks.) The invite slides in and out of the fabric "pocket." I haven't seen this before but thought it was really nice and wanted to share:

(In actuality, the shimmer of the fabric is much more visible so when you're looking at the invite through the pocket fabric, the text is more obscure than how you see it in these pics)
