Just feeling really down because so many people are giving me a hard time for having "dark" "funeral" colors and how everyone they know that had those colors have ended up in divorce.

That is so mean! I don't think it will be dark or look like a funeral! If you care what these people think maybe show them some pictures so they can see how it turns out?

I like your color combo and you can make it very pretty! Ignore them!

What the heck is wrong with people!

If I heard Black White Silver ... I'd think either classy and elegant or new years eve style where it will be a crazy fun party .. or anywhere in between.

But funeral and divorce??? Are you kidding me! You need to completely disregard those people and their comments .. or say something stupid back to them along the lines of... "Wow, well then it's a good thing were not crazy enough to believe wedding colors will end our marriage!"

My FI would love you for having those colors!! lol They're the raiders (oakland football team) colors and he is a huge avid fan lol Don't feel bad, those people who are saying that to you aren't respecting you and aren't taking into consideration what they might say, may hurt you.. Let them make fun, what matters the most is what YOU like and what your FI likes not anyone else.. its not their wedding its yours.. I had my FMIL make fun of my colors as well just brush it off.. I know I'm a nerd for saying this but "If you feelin' like a pimp, gone brush your shoulders off" lol

wedding colors don't make a marriage, people do! Definitely not funeral colors. Why do people find the need to share their opinions when they weren't asked to begin with.

Those colors are gorgeous and why on Earth would anyone tell you that? People are mean and ridiculous.

Do not worry about your colors- they will look beautiful and certainly do not reflect a single thing about you and FI's relationship!! I know plenty of people who had bright, "happy" colors who's marriage ended. Clearly, color has nothing to do with divorce rate.
