Restoring my parents' toasting glasses

I love efficiency, so I thought it would be neat to "borrow" my parents' "old" toasting glasses that they used at their wedding 38 years ago. Here's the thing, they're some sort of metal that tarnished, but my mom doesn't think they're silver or gold. They're gold in color, though so they might be brass. who knows? Anyway, I want to get them restored and maybe upgraded a little and engraved for them - to give it back to them as a gift with their wedding date and my wedding date on them, but I don't know what to google to find out how to do something like this. If I want to have them re-plated in silver and engraved and/or mounted...where does one do this. A trophy shop?? Any help would be deeply appreciated!

I would suggest calling an antique dealer and asking them. I don't think a trophy shop deals with anything "real". Or an antique jewelry dealer.
