Update to DOC Pricing Question!!!

Hi Ladies, I posted a few days ago about a DOC and with all your wonderful advice I decided to contact some, well actually I just contacted Christina from Tina Molina.  So far I am really impressed she called be back in 2 hours very nice start. Anyways I have a meeting with her on Sunday and I'm a little nervous about it cause I don't know what to ask her about. So my question, is there anything specific I should be asking her?  Thanks ladies you are all awesome.

That's GREAT! She is really quick about getting back :)  1st you can get to know her. You can ask her how she started doing this? How long she's been doing it? etc. I'm trying to remember what we talked about in our meeting. hmmmmm.... I think she got the ball rolling by asking us questions about the wedding and why we felt we needed a DOC. That really broke the ice. We explained our reasons and our vision for the wedding. Went into specific details we wanted for our wedding. We chit chatted about a few things. I know FI asked how extent is her Vendor list (meaning like does she know only a small list) She gave us some pointer on how to save some $ here and there. I think our meeting took a little over an hour. I think we all just got really comfortablw with eachother and we just asked she answered. I don't know if I quite answered your question but I hope I helped a little bit.

When you meet, it will feel normal and comfortable (atleast that's how you hope it will feel).Just go with the flow.  You should meet with a few and see who you felt most comfortable with.  Who did you hit it off with.  I met a couple and picked the one that felt I really wanted to work with over the next several months.I didn't go with TinaMolina, but I'm sure she's nice.

The first time we met with Christina, she was coming from a wedding and she was looking very cute with her make up all done and nice dress and all...and her assistant was matching...I don't know if they do that all the time though...kindda weird now that I think of it. Anyway we met at a Starbucks and she was nice and talked about her business, and what she will do for you and asked me about all the wedding details. So I don't think you need to ask questions other than her experience. She will most likely ask you all the questions so that she knows whats up. She will also go over pricing and different packages she offers. I booked her within a week. GL and HTH!

When FI and I met with Christina and her assistant we too met at Starbucks.  We 1st just got to know eachother and then I started in with my list of questions.  I asked how long she had been in the business, if she has worked with other vendors I booked, questions about communication how often and when, etc.  Like pp are saying it will come once you get comfortable.  GL

Thanks everyone, I'm a little more relaxed now about the meeting.  I just feel kind of un prepared for it but I'm sure it will be fine.  Thanks again, and have a great weekend!
