Cake Tasting experience...

Hello ladies, I've been MIA the past days...I've been sick since thursday night and haven't gone to work. Anyway, I went for my cake tasting to Diamond Bakery in Rowland Heights on Sunday and it was great! They made different choices for us and they ALL tasted soooo good except for the chocolate. Maybe because I don't like chocolate...I don't know. So we went for them! Our cake will be 4 tiered with White fondant with stencil designs. The first and second tier will be carrot cake w/ cream cheese filling (fi's choice), third tier will be Yellow sponge with Strawberries and last tier will be the Red Velvet with Raspberry puree filling (sooo yummy)! Now I'm on the hunt for cheap rhinestone ribbon!

I hope you are feeling better. Congrats on the cake tasting!! Those all sound very yummy!! As for ribbon you might want to check out Fabric Barn in Long Beach. So many choices it's crazy!!

Thanks girls, I don't know much about the carrot cake, doesn't sound too weddingish to me...but fi really liked it and the lady was like "well groom also needs to pick" so I was like "I guess" hah. It was a funny moment because then fi turned to me with a little smile like ha!

Two things: 1. Why wasn't I invited to the cake tasting? It sounds amazing and am now sad that I missed it 2. Your siggy pic is hot!

Hope your feeling better! Red velvet sounds so yummy We are thinking red velvet as well. We'll see when its cake tasting time for us.
