Thanks everyone for those words of encouragement! =)So yesterday when fi got home, he told me all the scoop. Looks like he was one of the lucky few. He said that when he got to work it was very empty, they already had let go most of the staff the same day. Fi and a few others are being kept to finish off the work the branch has left to do until Dec. 15th and he will get paid plus a bonus, severance pay, and 20 vacation days he has accumilated. I guess is not too too bad. At least he'll still have a job until then and we have most wedding costs covered. It's quite a relief and like you girls said, we can go through this. I was supportive and did not cry infront of him
