Videographer question?

So when we had set our budget we decided NO on a videographer, thought we would splurge on photography and have my uncle just have some raw footage.

NOW, FI thinks maybe we should get a videographer! Geesh! I think we are so close to MAX on the budget where I think it may not be feasible, so what does a videographer cost? Is $500 a lot to ask for? Nothing fancy!

for raw footage, I think the lowest I saw was $600...let me see if I can find that guy. For how long do you want him for?

Well he thought from beginning to the end. 5-12am. I think he is asking for too much though.

Ours was $350 - look in my bio for his info, he was amazing. You really do not need them there the whole time. We had ours for 3.5 hours and that was enough. The ceremony/speeches/first dances/cake cutting/tosses is really all you need. From 10-12 I am assuming you will just have dancing. I think you'd be wasting your money paying someone to videotape people just dancing... unless that's what you want to see.
