2nd egagement rules?

So my boyfriend and I have decided we're getting married!  This is my 2nd marriage and his FOURTH.  Are there any rules about your 2nd wedding.  I think we're defintely going to do it simple.  Down play alot of stuff.  But I didnt know as far as showers and that kind of thing.  Is there any rules?

    Not really, sounds like you have the right idea.  Keep it simple, low-key, close friends and family type thing.  If someone offers to throw you a shower, you are absolutely allowed to accept it; you can have a bachelorette, too, if your friends offer.

    Agree. Wedding planning and anything you personally are responsible for should be simple and as you want it. Showers and bachelorettes are wonderful but not required and shouldn't be expected, whether it's your 1st wedding or 10th. If someone wants to give you one, by all means enjoy!
