On October 23rd I got engaged to my best friend! A guy who lacks in the whole romantic department. He is awsome when it comes to letting me know how much he cares but he isnt an over the top romantic guy. We live in NC near Mt. Mitchell. We went up on the main overlook just because he had never been there.
We were up on the overlook when I noticed an older couple taking pictures of one another and offered to take one of them together. We then asked them to take one of us. My now FI decided that he wanted them to take another picture of us from a differant angle and place on the overlook. When I turned arond for the picture he was down on one knee. It was then and there that he asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! This was the easiest decision I have ever made in my life. I cried and was in complete shock I couldnt believe he did it in front of over 30 people and so sweetly. The ring was beautiful and was exactly what I had been waiting for. This was by far a huge milestone for us and now we could'nt be happier! Let the wedding excitement begin
