Just engaged, 1st bridal show

Hi all! Just got engaged, havent planned a date yet but i heard about this great bridal show coming up in Cleveland at Quicken Loans Arena. My girlfriend keeps talking about Catans being there, anyone familiar with thier gowns? I am hoping to see some good ones- in the fashion show!

Don't get too excited.  Those shows really aren't that great.  You really just pay $10 or whatever to go get advertised to.

If you do go, create a wedding only email address and give that out.  You would not believe the amount of wedding spam you'll get.  Oh, and don't give out your phone number.  It's ridiculous.  They sell it to telemarketer insanity.

Congrats! I wasn't a fan of bridal shows when I was planning but I know a lot of people that have won free stuff just for attending so depending on your luck it could be worth it. There are some good tips on how to navigate through the bridal show circuit here.

Congrats on your engagement!!! I haven't heard of that particular show.. but a tv show that comes to mind that might inspire some ideas is "Queiro Mi Boda". Its on MTV Tr3s mondays at 9pm. Its about bi-cultural couples planning their wedding. I hope this helps!
