FI and I are working on a Preliminary list of Invitees,We are doing so that we can work on our Budget. So that we begin to look at Venues, and a Time frame of when the Wedding can take place. We would like to save rather than go into debt, since we are paying it all ourselves.
Both FI and I have really Big Families.
He doesn't mind too much a Huge wedding and inviting everyone under the sun.
I on ther hand, would really love a smaller, simpler initimite wedding. Not only would it be affordable. I would really like a simple wedding and a nice Honeymoon. I however don't want to offend anyone in either of our families. We have discussed it, and can't seem to get to a common ground with this. I don't know what to do. I really would love a 50- 75 person or fewer person wedding. Rather than the preliminary count of 130-150 people. Thats only family and excluding any close friends.
Any IDEAS of how we can make this work. Sorry so long, and I'm sorry for coming off bratty in any way. I'm just a little flustered with this situation.
