I feel like I am irrationally angry about this, maybe I am just too stressed out with next week being finals week and trying to get everything done, plus I had to work this weekend, and I just don't have time to put up with stupid.
I am commuting fifty minutes away five days a week for nursing school. I also work at an assisted living community taking care of the elderly. I used to work a lot more but since starting this quarter and having a lot more responsibilities piled on me, I have cut down to only working every other weekend so I can take care of other things. Quite frankly, school is way more important right now than earning a lot of money at this job.
Nursing school is hard!! It's like a full time job plus twenty or thirty hours of overtime right now, plus add in another two hours a day in driving time. And, a month ago my dad had a stoke and so my responsibilities at home have just about quadrupled.
And apparently most of the girls at work think I am being lazy and slacking off because I only work every other weekend now. Are you kidding me? I am the furthest thing from lazy! I worked two jobs at 25 and 40 hours a week at the end of last year/beginning of this one! And they know that! It's not as tho when I am not at work I am just lounging around at home! I am so irritated by this, people are rude.
