There may be some people on here who are planning a wedding and have kids attending prom. Plus some prom dresses can make nice bridesmaids dresses.

Well legally any person 18 years of age or older may get married. I was 19 when I graduated high school I was 19 when I went to senior prom. If I got married at 18 I would have been married going to my senior prom.

I have a friend who wore a very pretty white dress to sr prom.  Her mom swears that she should get 5 more layers of tulle added and wear it when she gets married.  She says, no thanks.

I was considering getting a white prom dress instead of a wedding dress. "prom" dresses are typically cheaper than a wedding dress. It fits a bit nicer in my budget.

Wow. Why was that deleted? I didn't read the original: but I clicked on it because I am constantly trying to help my younger sister find inexpensive but awesome dresses for her dances.  I like to buy them and surprise her.  Also I like to buy simplier prom dresses to wear to formal occasions.
