Mission Inn... yay or nay?

Hi ladies, I asked this question on the LA board and they redirected me to you all here.I'm thinking about booking the Mission Inn in riverside for a winter wedding. If any of you have any experiences there, gone to weddings, or had your own wedding there, let me know how it all went! Was the food/cake real good or just ok? Was the staff helpful? Did you have any issues before, during, or after?Thank you so much in advance! Any insight would be helpful. :)

    Welcome to the IE board! :)We have quite a few ladies on here that were married at the Mission Inn. I've heard nothing but good things so far, but I'm sure they will be along any time now to add their $0.02 :)

    I had my reception there in July. It was wonderful and there were not any issues at all. I know that a lot of people book their Christmas weddings there (bc of the decor). There are a whole team of people to make sure that everything goes smoothly. Food was great and we got a lot of compliments on it.. we had a dinner reception, but if you do a lunch it's almost 1/2 off. There are five different bakeries that you choose your cake from (and we did tastings at each one!)Everything went really great and they threw in some nice perks too. I could go on and on, so I'll stop here but if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. I feel like i know everything about their system now. :)

    ...I was also going to say that I know people that have even gotten married on weekdays, just so that they could have their wedding there during the holidays, since it books up.

    thanks jojochanti! your picture is beautiful by the way, that's one of the reasons I want to have it there, I know I will get great pictures!I can't wait to here from the other ladies who have been married there. :)

    I am getting married there next month and so far everything has gone very well. I am getting my cake from Phood on Main which is right across the street. They are delicious! I would like to know from JoJo what perks they threw in? We are meeting with them in 2 weeks to finalize some details and I want to know what to ask for!

    hi guys...i just booked for mission inn too! may 9 2010- mothers day...its a sunday so it was much cheaper..also doing lunch rather than dinner...anyone who has had their wedding there, or is planning...please contact me... marielle007@gmail.com thanks! marielle
