Pensacola to Seagrove...gulfcoast brides....

How's your week going? Any planning updates? Who is your favorite vendor so far, and why? If you had more money is there anything/anyone you would have hired but didn't?

I am having a terrible time deciding on my venue still. I feel like I can't do anything else until then. So far I have found a dress I like but haven't bought it yet. I did hire my dj, and I know what colors I like but don't want to do anything until I know it won't clash with my location. I am thinking I have seen everything in Pensacola and  need to start looking down the coast. My problem is I have been toi too many weddings in the area, and I don't want to repeat. sighs.....  Nothing is inspriring me, I need motivation....

What venus have you looked at already?  Even if you do decide to do a venue that you have been to before..you can put personal touches to make it unique to you!

My week is going alright so far.  I have a list three miles long that I need to get working on, but finding it hard to actually sit down and do it!  Today I hope to choose the fabric for the flower girl dresses I am making and have my FI decided on a ring.

It's hard to say who my favorite vendor is bc I love all of it!  I love my location, caterer, photog, music guys, etc!
I guess I would have to say that I love that my brother is going to be our videographer the most.  He is in film school and wants to become a director and is VERY talented.  It is a labor of love from him that I will treasure forever!

If I had more money I would proabably get a second photographer shooter.  Ooh!  And do fireworks!!  Growing up I lived on a lake and always envisioned fireworks over the water as a finale at the end of the wedding!  Oh well....I'll settle w/ sparklers! :D

I know what you mean about not wanting to do the same ol same ol... but I also don't want people to drive to far. I love the parks downtown and probably will do our ceremony there, then pick one of the venues in walking distance for our reception. I am hoping our dj will help us make our wedding unique. He does a lot of weddings but mostly destination brides so he should be new for our crowd.

This week I will be looking at venues downtown, and then next will be a caterer.  so sad big sexy is gone. I did find out that Dharma Blue caters. I love their food!!!
