Hand Cancelling Rant

Ok so I know this is really trivial but I am kind of mad at the Post Office right now. So I took our invitations (pictures to come) to the P.O. after work today. I very very nicely asked the lady if I could have them hand-cancelled. She said sure. I was amazed at how easy it was. Skipped right out. Decided later that I didnt feel that confident that it was done because she just set them aside so I called back to check. Then I was informed that it is highly doubtful that anyone is going to stand around and hand cancel my invitations! Ok, thats fine, but please could you have told me this earlier so I could have gone to another (nicer) P.O.?!

Yea, the one I went to was going to charge me $0.25 per invitation to hand cancel them.  I said screw it.

I am over it now. I was just annoyed at the moment but now I have decided that ultimately, it is not that big of a deal.

Don't even get me started on the post office....  there's no use in even complaining.. you won't get anywhere with them.

    Grr.

Well people started getting them today and so far the envelopes look fine. They were definitely not hand cancelled but according to my MOH (in VA) and my parents in Jax ( I sent them from Tally), the envelopes look fine.
