Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation is simular to the Make a Wish Foundation. They take a family whose parent, child, etc. has been diagnosed with
breast cancer on what could essentially be their last family vacation. They started hosting the gown sale about 15 years ago. They would travel from city to city all across the country with semi trucks full of donated
wedding dresses. Some wedding dressing can reach up to $12,000.00 and all dresses will be sold for only a small fraction of the prices they would be sold in stores. Designers, former brides and boutiques donate the dresses. Absolutely 100% of the sale of the dress goes straight to the foundation.
It will be held at the Hyatt Regency downtown Jacksonville. July 23-25.
