JAX Beach/Ponte Vedra Rehearsal Venue & House Rental

I am the aunt of the groom and need the help of all of you who are actually from the Ponte Vedra area. I am trying to plan a rehearsal for 70 long distance. We want a festive, seated dinner with yummy food in a great atmosphere, We would love to be on the water. Casual is fine as long as it's fun and delicious. Are there entire restaurants to rent out? Jax Beach or PV is ideal., We are considering The Lodge. Anyone have any experience with them? We also need a rental home on the beach that is close to the Inn and Lodge which is where our guests will stay. Finally, we need a small fun band. Thanks for any help.

    Caps is great and on the water, but I know they don't let you rent out the whole restaurant.  There's more information here: http://www.capsonthewater.com/

    I work at the lodge and Nicole Wesseling is the events coordinator and she is amazing, she might have vendors for the band that she has worked with before. Also the Lodge has a band that plays in the restaurant on fridays, they might be something to look into. But we have rehearsal dinners here almost every weekend and everyone seems to have a great time. Also try contacting Ponte Vedram reality. They can suggest some rental properties for you.

    Thank you! Any more suggestions? We are trying to stay in Jacksonville Beach,Atlantic Beach or somewhere closer to Ponte Vedre. Love The Lodge but it is a little expensive when you add in the open bar and a full dinner. Does anyone have an opinion on Casa Marina? Thanks!

    i dont have any previous Wedding purching experience at the Casa Marina but i have been there for other events & have been to a wedding there it is Beautiful. One of the most georgeous places ive been to for a wedding & it's also a hotel & restruant so guests dont have to travel far & get lost. it's Right on the beach & there is lots of shops & restruants close by http://www.casamarinahotel.com/weddings.html you can go there and request a proposal.
