Hi girls
I'm a former WCF knottie with a question regarding Jacksonville. Figured I'd see if anyone on this board could offer some advice.
I have a lot of family in Jax and we're trying to throw my grandma a 90th birthday party. Ideally, we'd love to be able to rent a room in a restaurant/county club type place in the Mandarin area, or nearby. We're
not trying to do a sit down dinner; just something where people can come inside the rented room and help themselves to snacks/appetizers/drinks set up on tables. We're trying to keep this affordable, yet still condusive to allowing all of our many (too many) friends to simply wander into a room, take some snacks, say happy b-day to grandma, and leave :P
So can anyone recommend a place in the Mandarin area that might be good for this type of set-up? Any restaurants you can think of or other places? Thought I'd throw this out there, although not sure how many of you are familiar with Mandarin. But thanks so much for any help!
