I am tryin to plan a beach wedding and reception in the Destin and surrounding areas, however, I have had a hard time finding a location that also has a backup location that still has the feel of being outside (i.e. trying to avoid the ballroom scene). I've also had a hard time finding things on the internet that aren't terribly expensive like tents on the beach, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for places directly on the beach (or a deck) to have weddings and receptions that also have a good backup location? I am open to all types of places - hotels, houses, anything that will get me a beach weddings and reception atmosphere. Any help would be much appreciated!
