they day before the wedding...

How did you or how do you plan to spend the day???

Most of my guests are OOT and they are flying in the day before and they've started asking me to make plans with them that day (even though the wedding's 6 months away).. but I don't know what to expect the day before.

I def. want some girl time since by the time the wedding rolls around, it will have been more than a year and a half since I've seen them.

let me rephrase..it's not most of my guests asking to make plans.. just my close girlfriends.

I worked a half day and then went and got a pedicure.  After that, I was pretty rushed to get to the rehearsal dinner.  I highly recommend not working and just taking the day to relax.  And give yourself plenty of time to get ready for the rehearsal.

I am taking the day off work and getting a massage and mani/pedi. After that I have a few other errands to run then I'm going to (try) to relax and I probably won't see my guests until the rehearsal dinner.

I too have a lot of guest coming in from out of state.  I'm hoping I have time to see them after the rehearsal dinner.

I'll have the day off and decorating the church in the morning with my family & bridesmaids. Then I'm having a Bridesmaids Lunch, then taking a nap before the rehearsal! Trying to stay clam and relaxed!

I am taking off work and having a lunch with my bridal party and some OOTers. I would suggest doing something like that. Even if you don't have a formal one, suggest a place to meet for lunch close by.

I was super busy the day before.  I had breakfast alone with my parents (just a little alone and thank you time for us), got my mani and pedi, rehearsal, then rehearsal dinner.  Somehow that took up my entire day.

We're having a big lunch at mine and FI's place (catered by Sonny's BBQ) for most of our OOT guests, then heading out on a river cruise around Amelia Island that we've chartered with Amelia Island River Cruises.

I'm hoping to get a mani/pedi that morning with my girls.  That evening I'm sure we'll spend doing last minute stuffs, maybe even getting my hair done for our 7:45 am wedding, : )

I'm actually taking off work most of that week since my Maid of Honor is flying in early in the week.. I haven't seen her since January 2009 so I want to spend some BFF time with her and she can help me get some last minute things done.  My rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are being held on Thursday (wedding is Saturday).  So I'm thinking I could probably swing the whole getting together with friends thing.

    Thanks ladies.

I just plan to relax finalize any last minute details and then go to the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner and then maybe have a girls pajama sleepover with my bridesmaids before. The bulk of my guests will be out of towners so we plan to have a bbq or seafood bash two days before the wedding. We decided to do this to have a day with just our guests because we won't have time the day before and the day of.

Yes that sounds like so much fun!  We are having a casual dinner at our house 2 days before (the rehearsal dinner) and it's probably doing to be catered BBQ food .. we are all pretty laid back people so some beers and simple food is totally the way to go for us.

The day before was super busy. I worked in a mani/pedi w/my two MOH's in the morning (which was awesome & MUCH needed) and then the rest of the day was nuts. I was glad I had those few hours of relaxation w/my best girls.
