Fake Eyelashes?

Kind of a silly question, but I've thought about doing fake eyelashes for extra glam on the wedding day.
Has anyone done them before? If so, do they stay? Which brand is a good one? How long do they last, and do they hurt to take off?
I may test them before just in case but thought I'd ask.
TIA! :)

Oh for SURE I'll be doing the lashes. I have very light lashes, so I'm obsessed with mascara and even MORE obsessed with false lashes!!!

I'm having my MU done the day of the wedding, and the ladies I'm considering all do individual lashes, which look a lot more natural than the full strip. And, they're less bulky. In the past, when I've worn the full strip of lashes, it took a while getting used to, but after a few hours, I was fine.

I think it's all personal preference on which lash to go with.

I did them on my wedding day. They were fun, everyone said they looked great--the vision peripherally was a little weird but I got used to it. I just used ones that the makeup artist brought with her. They were easy to take off at the end of the night.

I wear fake eyelashes for every major event.  I'm addicted!  LOL    Kiss  Like pp said, the individual lashes do look more natural, and are a bit more comfortable.  I don't really have an issue with the strips though, well... not after about 10 minutes of wearing them.
Most MU artists will have a supply of them, although you may want to check on that.
I say GO FOR IT, it's your wedding day... GLAM IT UP!

We did fake lashes for the bachelorette party, and while they did take some getting used to, I absolutely love them now!  I'm definitely doing them for the wedding.  I'm getting my makeup done at MAC, and they've got a big selection of styles, so I'll probably just have the makeup artist pick out a good one.

If you want a cheap way to practice/get used to fake eyelashes, the makeup site eyeslipsface.com (sounds weird, but its legit) has eyelash kits for about $3. While the sets aren't wedding quality, it's a cheap option to get used to them.

There are a bunch of codes out there now for 50% off too. :)

I got the semi-permanant eyelash extensions for my wedding.  They lasted about 8 weeks and ran me about $130.  It took an hour and a half to get them put on.  In the weeks leading up to my wedding (I got them done two weeks before), it just looked like I had on lots of mascara with them.  But on wedding day, the MUA added mascara on top of them and it looked so awesome.  I loved them!
