Gift Idea (Sort of Wedding Related)

Hi -

My friend recently got engaged and I want to get her a Christmas gift. I want it to be something she can use for her upcoming wedding, but not like a shower gift. Did anyone get a gift that they absolutely loved? Is there something that you think is a must have for soon to be brides? Let me know!

Many of my friends give those little ring dishes to keep an engagement ring safe when doing dishes/cooking, etc. I have one attached to a shelf in my kitchen and I use it everyday. It's a nice little gift and makes me think of my friend all the time. Just a thought. GL!

Or what about a spa gift certificate that she can use for some pre-wedding pampering ?

Oooh!  I have a lot of ideas:

    1.  Gift certficate to pay for her hair to be styled the day of her wedding (you would need to know where she's getting it done).

    2.  If she just got engaged, a wedding organizer binder (mine has SAVED me!!)

    3.  "i do" blue sparkles for the bottoms of her shoes

    4.  engraved champagne flutes (Things remembered is great)

    5.  If you have a nice "something old" piece of jewlery that she could use for her wedding day.

    6. a "bride" bag... at first I thought they all looked dumb, but now i'm DYING for a cute bag to keep all my crap in for my wedding day.

    GOOD LUCK!

How about a bottle of wine with a gift certificate attached for the two of you to get together, drink the wine and do any wedding related stuff she needs help with?

Gift certificate to get a manicure that goes right along showing off the new engagement bling.

I loved getting all the bridal magazines from my friends.

  • I like bridal magazine subscriptions or the wedding binder idea. Also, maybe a wedding planning book. Getting started somewhere was the hardest part of planning for me.
