mineral make up

I've heard that mineral make up does not photograph well, that it can create too much shine, make you look washed out, or too "glow-y." Does anyone have personal experience with this? My make up artist used mineral make up on me for the trial and I thought it looked good, but I don't want my pictures to turn out badly.

I use Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals and I think I always have a little glow in pics. It's most noticeable indoors.

I would not suggest going with bare minerals for your wedding makeup. I have heard great things about clinique if you plan on doing alot of touch ups throughout the day. It is very easily blended with other types of makeup. HTH

I wouldn't suggest mineral makeup for your wedding day. I like mineral makeup in general because it's more natural looking, but it doesn't photograph well from what I've been told. I would just stick to traditional makeup or airbrush makeup for the wedding day.
