Wheat Grass

Hi Everyone: I am thinking about doing my place cards in wheat grass and found out that it is expensive to have a florist do ($20 a flat). So, I am thinking about growing my own, which I heard only takes a few weeks and only cost a few dollars. Did anyone do this or are planning on doing this for their wedding and know how long it actually takes or if it is worthwhile? Thanks ahead of time!

I wonder if Walmart or Farm and Fleet would have them.

i think it is a great idea to grow your own! it might not be a bad idea to have placecards that would work well with a backup plan just in case it didnt turn out though.
