Wedding Gown Preservation

Hello-Has anyone preserved their wedding gown?  I still have mine in the closet and I want to do this soon.  I have been doing some research, but wanted to see if anyone could recommend a place.  I found a site - affordablepreservation.com.  I am just not sure.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks:)

Have you considered doing it yourself?  That's what I did with my veil.  I took it in to a place that preserves wedding gowns and asked her to just do my veil.  She said she would have to charge me the same price as if I was getting my gown preserved as well.  She recommended buying an acid free box and paper online and just putting it in there.
