NWR: Looking for black tea-length crinoline

Does anyone know where I can find a black, tea-length crinoline? I'm going to someone else's wedding this weekend and the dress I have would look even better if it was a little poufy-er.  I've tried a few bridal shops any no one has them in black or tea-length.

This might sound wierd but maybe try a Haloween shop?  I know I have bought crinolines in the past for haloween costumes.

That's an interesting idea- do those Halloween shops, the ones that open in empty storefronts this time of year sell costumes, too, then?  I've never been in one, so I thought they were just decorations.Perfect time of year to have this problem! Thanks!

I'm the costume designer for a dance company and I've found that crinoline actually dyes really well.  It's not a super involved process if you have a washing machine close by.  Most people are turned off by the idea and think it's really hard, but it's super easy and only takes an hour or two (you usually have to go through the process twice to get black.  The dye costs about $2 a package and the only other ingredients are usually a little salt and water.  Just another option if you have trouble finding a black crinoline.
