Live event artist?

I've read about live event artists at weddings and I am hooked.  I want this.  We have been talking about what we are going to hang on our bare walls since the day we bought our house over 6 months ago.  I felt this would be a wonderful idea for a very personal piece of art and a great keepsake from that day.  My problem is I can not find one around Chicago.  Is anyone going to have an event artist at their wedding or know where I can find one?  Please let me know.  My life won't end if I can't find one, after all I'm marrying the love of my life, but I do have my heart set on one.

You could always contact some students at an art school in town and ask if they'd be interested.  Since they are students, their work would likely be cheaper, and you may be able to look at their portfolios beforehand in order to pick an artist with a style you like.  If they're really reasonably priced, you may be able to even afford two artists and capture two different perspectives on your event.
