I got married last month and I have two vendors that all of you should know about:Artlynn Photography: A. Anthony W. was our photographer and he did a great job. This is a great vendor to work with if you've got a tight budget for your wedding. They were the least expensive I could find and I would have been reluctant to go with them because of that, but they did my friend's wedding last year. Her pictures looked great so I went with them. My pictures look great too. We couldn't afford the really expensive photographers that do a lot of artistic shots. I asked the photographer at Artlynn to go to those photography websites and he was able to give me the style of photos that I wanted for a lot less than those other studios were charging. Their service was also very professional. I had a great experience working with them. In this case, a lower price did not mean poor quality in pictures or service. I highly recommend them.DiNolfo's Banquets, Mokena: D. My fiance and I had heard great things about this vendor and we were very excited to have our banquet there. The place looked beautiful but the food was terrible. Maybe it was because we went with the afternoon package on a Saturday from 12:30-4:30, which is not considered prime time and is less expensive. We paid $41 a plate for a four course meal with chair covers, centerpieces, and an open bar included. We thought it was a great deal until we got there and were served rubber chicken that was pretty much inedible. When I complained to the manager he said that he had spoken to several of my guests and they said the food was great. Well, what guest with any kind of tact would complain about the food at a reception they had been invited to? They also told me when I signed the contract that they could do a vegan meal for my maid of honor. That ended up being a plate of raw fruits and vegetables! I was appalled. I would not recommend this banquet hall to anyone. I was so embarrassed by the food.
