Really having trouble...

Hello all,I am really having trouble finding an officiant for our wedding! We are having the wedding at a non-denominational chapel that does not have it's own officiant. I want someone who is professional, but I can't stomach blowing my budget for somene to do a 30 minute ceremony. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help in advance!

We're using Rev on the Run, as recommended by Knottie theMorriseys.  They're really reasonable and communication has been great so far! HTH!

look into universal unitarian ministers, as well as someone like bruce otto. reverend rebecca armstrong does not go to rehersals so for most people, someone like her is out of the question.

My friend got ordained online so that he could be the officiant for a wedding.  You could have someone that you think is a good public speaker and who is important in your lives marry you.  He's married someone already, so it's legit, even though it still sounds funny to me.  I guess it only cost about $20 and you get a certificate in the mail.  If I can get the website, I'll repost.  It sounds sill, but it's real.  And, I think it would be more personal.

Yes! Rev-on-the-Run was WONDERFUL! We booked Rev. Jeff and he was the best vendor we worked with. The price? Unbeatable. People still rave about our fun, romantic ceremony! I highly, highly recommend Rev-on-the-Run!

We're using Rev on the Run as well. They've been great to work with so far. Definitely budget friendly.

We booked Pastor B. He came highly recommended on this board. We met with him and instantly felt at ease. He's really affordable but we did have to toss him a little extra to be present at the rehearsal. Here's his site... http://www.ministerforrent.com/
