Anniversary Trip to Mexico/Travel Agent Recommendations??

Hi ladies!My husband and I are starting to explore options for our 1st anniversary trip (yay!).  We're thinking about an all-inclusive resort in Mexico but haven't started planning anything yet.  We don't want to spend and arm and a leg and think we can get a pretty good deal (thanks to the swine flu outbreak last Spring).  Does anyone have a travel agent that they'd recommend using or any resorts that they'd recommend?  Thanks in advance!~Karla

    We went to Excellence Riviera Cancun in August and can't say enough good things about it!  It was fantastic and we got a great deal.

    I liked working with Rhonda from VIP travel.I contacted a few agents before I settled on her.She was helpful , honest and got us a good deal.

    We loved Secrets Silversands when we went for our Honeymoon.  Secrets Maroma beach looks fantastic though, so we might head there for our 1 year.

    I'm using Jennifer with VIP travel for my honeymoon. She has been soo helpful and always responds to my emails super fast (sometimes within 20 minutes). Jennifervipvacationsinc@verizon.net

    Allison Bastianelli at CRC Travel was referred to for honeymoons on here but a 1st anniversary trip could be similar I would think. I don't know the contact info but i am sure it is easily found on google. Good luck!

    We went to Excellence in Playa Mujeres (north of Cancun). It was beautiful and I think the rates are a little lower now with the swine flu issue.

    LOVED the Valentin Imperial Maya in Riviera Maya, and we used Berman Travel. Definitely check them out, and ask for Heather D. They price match, and were amazing with service (we were given an upgrade due to their connections with the Valentin as well as the lack of travelers in June due to the flu scare)! You should be able to get some good flight prices, and resort prices as well. HTH!
