Kind of a silly question...

So, I'm starting to shop for wedding accessories and I'm trying to decide if I should get a purse or not.  How many of you had (or will have) a purse with you on your wedding day?  If so, what color, size, shape was it?I'll have my "emergency kit" bag but I can't decide if I want another thing to lug around with me.  On the other hand, we'll probably go out after the reception and I'll need some essentials (i.e. my id) for the bars...Any thoughts?Thanks!

I got a purse and I didn't actually use it until we went out after the reception.  I would suggest just skipping it and giving your ID/credit card/ cell phone  to your FI or MOH to keep track of.  They were the ones that ended up dealing with my purse that night anyways.

I had a purse - it was a present given to me by a friend who makes handbags. It is a small clutch, white with gold accents on the claps. She got a picture of my dress and the body of bag is ruched to mimic the pick ups my dress had. Like pp, the only time I really used it was at the reception and then it was only to reapply lip gloss. My MOH was in charge of it, and I probably would have not had/used one if my friend had not made it specifically for me.

Honestly, I never even considered it. I bought these (IMO) adorable bags from Michaels:http://www.michaels.com/online/product/DisplayEnlargedImage.jsp?imageName=wd0365.jpgBridesmaids:http://www.michaels.com/online/product/DisplayEnlargedImage.jsp?imageName=wd0366.jpgI was thinking I can fit more stuff in that than a purse, and I'll keep them on the trolley during mass, and in the bridal suite during the reception. They were only $4.99. And, for the girls to know which bag belongs to who, I purchased $1 keychains with their first name initial. They look cute. As far as your ID, give it to your HUBBY to hold! That's what I always do. LOL.

I had a clutch.  I used it periodically to re-apply lip gloss or powder.  But that was really it.  I guess I could have just as easily had DH hold onto those things.
