West suburbs ceremony sites

Hi everyone,We're having a very small ceremony (just immeadiate family, no more than 15-20 people) and are looking for a nice, inexpensive ceremony site that is not a church somewhere in the west suburbs.  We would like to get married outside if possible.  If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very much appreciated!!

I had my ceremony and reception at oak brook bath & tennis club. not sure if they allow just ceremonies. it is $725(includes seats for up to 100 people) to reserve the outdoor ceremony site. it is incredibly beautiful.

You might want to look into Mayslake Estate in Oak Brook.  I'm not sure of their details but it might be worth looking into.

Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst has a really nice outside area for ceremonies...and I think it's very reasonably priced. Also I think the Morton Arboretum has something.

Check out Fishermen's Inn in Elburn (fishermens-inn.com) - they have beautiful outdoor spaces (4 different outdoor places) and they have very reasonable prices if you want to do a reception there too.  I don't know if they are still running it, but we got a free ceremony for booking our reception there.Good luck!

Fisherman's Inn I looked at and you have to be careful about the goose poop. There are LOTS of geese and they don't clean the poop in the outdoor spaces. You might try looking into Walter Peyton's Roundhouse, they have outdoor space and have reasonable pricing for their packages.
  • I don't know if it's possible (you might just need a permit) but check out forest preserves in the area - there are some pretty ones in Geneva, St. Charles; Batavia Japanese Gardens ; the dam right by the city of Batavia on Wilson. Good Luck!

Danada House in Wheaton?  I second the Morton Arboretum too.
