Newberry Brides-Rehearsal Dinner

Rehearsal dinner! I am getting married on March 27, 2010 at the Newberry Library… most of the wedding party is from out of town. We are looking into places around there to have the rehearsal dinner and I am not having much luck… probably because I am not 100% sure what I want to do for the dinner. I know that there are many pizza places around there- but I am kinda not thinking pizza… but something kinda laid back! Any ideas?

I ended up using the Lettuce Entertain You Event Planning.  They were able to find me a restaurant within their network that met my requirements.  I also looked at Quartino, Lou Malnati's, Portillo's, Cafe Iberico but ended up going with a restaurant conglomerate since our first rehearsal dinner location went out of business and we lost our deposit!  Highly recommend wedding insurance, but with the economy it made me realize that some stand alone restaurants can go under very quickly.Good luck in your search!
