Has anybody gotten there dress from Shelley's in West Dundee? I'm going for my first outing to look at dresses on Saturday and made an appointment there. Just wondering how they are!

Hi! So, I had gone to a Bridal Show and had booked an appt with Shelley's (I got 20% if I bought something). I was a little apprehensive because everything I saw at the show was a little too glitzy for my taste. But I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised. I worked with Christina, and she was great. One other thing I liked is they aren't pushy sales people and they don't have anything over 2K, which was nice because I didn't want to spend more than that. Also, Shelley is always around too. I bought my dress the first time I was there (and got the 20% off!). I just picked up my dress, it was in a month early and everything has been awesome. I would highly recommend!

HI  I got my dress and bridesmaids dresses from there. They gave me  a coupon when I went in for my first appointment and when I went in to look at bridesmaids dress they would not accept it because I had only Three girls but was told that was ok at the being. than They  order the bridemaids dress and the came in before the ladies had a deposit down but was told that when 60 % was down the dresses would be order.  My dress came in and They did not call I had to call Them.  When I went to try on my dress there was make up or something on it. They had said no one try it on.  They sent to be clean and I again had to call them to see if it was in.  The owner really has no idea what is going on there. Talk to her each time and told me she had to talk to someone and would call me back but never did. I am picking up all the dresses and never getting anything from there again.  sara

I didn't end up buying at Shelley's, but I had a great experience shopping there. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they had a lot of options at reasonable prices. They also carry a variety of sample sizes, which I was worried about before I went in. I think I tried on about 10 dresses! My consultant was so great. She even put on one of the dresses I was considering so I could see it side by side with another dress! I hope you have as great of an experience as I did!
