Montefiori Brides?

Anyone have any experience with Montefiori in Lemont?
Their website is under some serious construction and is completely unhelpful. Anyone have any input about their catering, site, etc?
TIA!

I went and checked it out after it was recommended by someone with very good taste, so while I didn't try the food, I trust their judgement. :) The site is absolutely beautiful, something straight out of a fairy tale. And it seems to be run by a family, or at least a close group -- the owner was working on the grounds and showed us around on a golf cart! (This may be the reason for the horrible website.) We didn't end up choosing it because it was just too difficult to find. It's not easy to get to, and is far from our church, but if you're having the ceremony onsite it would probably be fine. I definitely recommend going to see it in person!

My DIL looked there before deciding on the Bolingbrook Country Club.  She said it was absolutely out of this world gorgeous, but way out of her budget.

It is really nice in there, but like cjohnsen said it is really expensive. I also had a hard time getting in contact with the guy. (sorry i don't remember his name) I was calling there for almost 2 weeks before I got any useful information. And then the guy wanted me to book over the phone. I was like no thank you.

I also heard it was pretty expensive but very nice.

Seeing someone's post above, if they are much more expensive then Bolingbrook Country Club then they are pretty expensive, because Bolingbrook Country club is a great venue but really expensive for my budget.

I got married at Montefiori on June 26th!  We had both our ceremony and reception there.  We had the ceremony in the Pine Grove Pavilion, cocktail hour outside by the pond/waterfall, and reception in Michelina's Pavilion.  Everything was absolutely perfect!  The owners and staff were wonderful to work with.  They do sometimes take a little while to get back to you during the summer because it is there busy season but they will get back to you and are very helpful and accommodating.  They are a little expensive but I was looking for a unique venue (not a banquet hall) and everywhere I looked that was unique was more expensive.  I think I looked at about 15 places before we picked Montefiori.  We had chicken and steak for dinner, with  pasta and asparagus sides.  It was fantastic!  The cake was included in our package and my guests said it was one of the best cakes they ever had.
Lastly, I have not received my professional pictures yet but the pictures taken by guests can not be more beautiful!  The grounds are gorgeous and made the most amazing backdrop for my wedding
Feel free to email me at kellylynn2@hotmail.com if you have any further questions about Montefiori.  I would be happy to help you.  I LOVED my wedding there so much....I want to do it all over again :)
    Good luck in your search!
