Videographer.

FI & I are still on the fence about having one & know we can't afford much.  But basically we are looking for someone who would be able to film the ceremony (preferably with FI mic'ed) plus the important stuff from the reception (speeches, important dances etc)  We don't need a hollywood masterpiece, but would like it not to look like a wedding video from the 80s, if you know what I mean ha ha ha.  Any suggestions?

Me:28 DH:28 TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR
Feb'12- Clomid/TI with CD3 &21 labs(normal)& SA-count 6mil/ml,morph/motil OK-BFN
April'12 Ultrasounds,HSG -clear, slight acurate uterus
5/14 IUI #1-50 mg clomid-post wash total motile count 19.3 prometrium 2dpiui= BFN
6/11-IUI #2-100 mg clomid & prometrium post wash count total motile 17.5 = BFN
7/6 IUI#3 with 100 mg clomid, estridiol, prometrium. post wash total motile count 23.3 = BFN
8/30IVF#1 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur,Ganerelix,Novarel.
ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F.
ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
IVF#2 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur, Ganerelix, Novarel, Baby Aspirin
ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
2/13- Saline sono revealed a polyp. All additional labwork coming back normal. Genetic screen revealed DH has MTHFR deficiency & I am a carrier for it.
3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy
next up-Reproductive immunologist Appt 3/27, cycling in may?

    Hi Meg,

    I had planned to meet with Ray from Emotia, but after seeing his prices, I knew we couldn't go with him. He called me back and sI explained that I didn't want to waste his time b/c I knew we wanted 8 hours of video and not only the 4 he suggested in order to book him at the price that was better for our budget. He was scheduled to come meet us, and then at the last minute canceled. He asked if we could reschedule and I told him of course, and I would email him the following day, and I did but I never heard back from him.

    We went with Orange Video Productions; we met with JJ Kim (the owner) and he's fantastic! He was super friendly, showed us all of his equipment (FI is a audio/video guy himself, so he was enjoying it). His prices are FANTASTIC for what he offers!!! He's also willing to negotiate (you can take items out if you don't want them, etc.) The other thing that sealed the deal fo us is that he doesn't expect full payment until you have the DVD IN HAND! That is amazing. I had another vendor tell us that he required payment in FULL 30 days before the event. Seriously??? NO WAY!

    I am also using Orange Video Production - we met with JJ and he is awesome! Very professional and easy to work with. I'm excited to see the finished product!

    I heard back from orange, & while I love their sample work, their base package is 2000 (yikes!)  Anyone else have any suggestions?  I might just have to go to best buy & get a camcorder & tripod ha ha ha

    We already have a video vendor... but I recently found I Do Films and am excited to pass along the info: http://www.idofilms.net/

    Their films are beautiful, the music is awesome. I haven't researched them and I don't know about pricing, but I love their films... sigh.....

    I had a hard time finding a videographer as well. I posted a while ago and was recommended Lexoria Videos. I met with Jason at  Lexoria wedding videos- the package is $1200 and he was great.
