Wedding Day Prep Timeline

Good Morning Ladies,

Looking for some advice on what time I need to start getting ready/be ready. Our ceremony is at 3pm (our church is 5 minutes from my parent's house, so I don't need much travel time).
- What time would you suggest I start getting ready?
- What time do you think I should be officially ready? (dress, hair, MU, etc.)
- How much time should I allow for pictures with my Family & BMs before the ceremony? (we're not doing the "first look")

I've heard some people recommend getting a massage the day of, but I'm not sure I would want to deal with that; I'm always tired and just want to be lazy after a massage, and I don't think that's a good day to feel "lazy". Maybe the night before would be good...get a good night's sleep?

Thank you so much for the help (in advance). I can't believe how FAST the time is flying by....

Have a great day!

We are allowing one before our ceremony for photos. Our ceremony starts at 2:30.
We will all be ready by noon. Start getting ready around 9am. My bridesmaids are all meeting here at my house. Hope this helps.

If the link doesn't work go to October 2010 boards and then go to "wedding day of timeline-show me yours"

I'm completely out of it and relaxed after a massage, so there is no way I'd do one the day of my wedding.  Now the day after?  Absolutely!

    Hey Kate-
Just happenned to pop on here and see your post.  We had a 3pm ceremony and everyone met at the salon at 8:30- 9am (5 mins. from my moms) and I had breakfast for everyone.  We were back at my mom's by noon, had a bite to eat, then the photographer came at 1pm, we had the trolley come at 2:15pm (we were about 15min away from the church).  I wanted to get into the church before most of the people arrived, just to settle my nerves and relax a bit.  I would NOT suggest getting a massage the day of, nor a couple days before.  My sister got one two days before the wedding and ended up with a bruise on her arm, luckily it was barely visable in pictures (due to cover-up).  Hope this helps, i can dig up my day of time-line if you're interested.

Oh and I meant that my sister got a massage two days before her own wedding, not mine.
